Game of the Day

Welcome to the Game of the Day page. Here, everyday, you will find a video game under the spotlight. For every Game of the Day I will display the box art, the title, the North American release date, the corresponding platforms, the developer(s), and finally, the publisher(s).

For a game to be considered, it must have been released in North America. Games released solely in Japan, Europe or any other region will not be included. Multi-regional games, as long as it includes North America, are acceptable. For multi-regional games, the game’s North American title will be used. Secondly, the games will only come from the more common platforms, third generation and up (so no Neo Geo or Atari 7800, etc). Sorry in advanced to all of the fans of those platforms, but I had to taper off the list somewhere.

The games were chosen in completely random order with no regard for genre, content, or popularity. As such, it is quite possible that a Scooby-Doo game could be Game of the Day. Although it is random, I did mix in some of my favorite games as well.

Finally, I can guarantee there will be inaccuracies in the data for some of the games found on this page. I used at least two sources, sometimes three or four (IGN, Wikipedia, GameSpot, MobyGames), and frequently, each site had varying information for the same game. I apologize in advanced if any of the information is incorrect.
